Instructions

  1. After forming your ground beef into balls place it onto a piece of waxed paper. Flatten the ball out and form a round patty shape that is quite thin. Then place the patties into the freezer whilst you prepare the sauce.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce together in a small bowl.
  3. Slice the burger bun into three equal slices.
  4. Heat a griddle or fry pan on the stove. Remove the patties from the freezer and place on the griddle to cook. Lay the slices of burger buns next to the beef to toast and warm through. Season the Beef Patties with salt and pepper.
Turn the patties after about 1 minute or when brown. Cook the other side.
  5.  Assemble your big mac by placing the bottom of the burger bun on a plate and spooning on some sauce.
Add the gherkins and some of the lettuce.
Top with one of the burger patties.
Lay the middle of the bun on next and top with more sauce.
Add the chopped onions and the rest of the lettuce.
Place the other patty on top and cover with the slice of cheese.
Top with the lid of the bun and press down firmly.
  6. Your Big Mac is now ready to eat.
