Instructions
- Place the blue jello powder into a jug or bowl and add the boiling water. Stir until dissolved completely.
Add the 1/2 cup of cold water or Vodka and stir through. Pour the blue jello into your shot glasses so that the level is one third of the way up the glass.
Place in the fridge to set. - Now prepare the white layer. Place the cream, sugar and vanilla into a small pan. Gently heat the cream mix and when hot sprinkle the gelatine into the pan. Stir the gelatine into the cream until completely dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and place to one side to cool for 15-20 minutes.
Pour the cream into a jug and gently pour on top of the blue jello. These look best if the layers are all equal in size.
Place in the fridge for 2-3 hours to completely set. - Make the red jello in the same way that you made the blue jello. The red jello needs to cool completely so when it is poured on top of the white layer it doesn’t melt the layer and ruin the look.
I used some fresh cherries that I left the stalks on and de pipped in my red jello layer. this is optional but I thought it looked cool. You will need to cut a small slice from the bottom of the cherry so that it can stand on the white layer when you pour the red jello in.
When the white layer is set and the red jello is cold pour into the shot glass to create the final layer.
Place in the fridge to set completely.
