Rainbow Popcorn with Fruit flavours 🙂
How to make Rainbow Popcorn
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
For Each Colour of Popcorn
- 1/2 a cup of Oil
- 1/4 of a cup of White Sugar
- 1/4 of a cup of Popping Corn
- 1-2 Drops of Gel Colour
- Salt to Taste
- 2 Teaspoons of Flavoured Jelly/Jello Powder

Instructions
- You will need a thick bottomed fry pan with a lid for this recipe.
Into the pan pour the oil and add the corn and sugar. Decide what colour you want your popcorn to be and add a few drops. I use gel colours as they are much stronger in colour than the liquid colours but both work well. Place the fry pan on to the stove top and start to heat through. Stir everything together until it is completely dissolved.
The corn will start to pop and this is when you have to put on a lid. - Continue to shake and agitate the pan whilst the corn pops. Listen and you will hear when the popping starts to slow down and stop this is the time to turn off the heat. Continue to shake the pan for about 30 seconds then remove the lid.
- Pour the popped corn into a container that has a lid. Add some salt and cover with the lid. Shake the popped corn to cover in the salt and to make sure it is nicely separated.
Repeat steps 1-3 for each different colour. - If you want to flavour the popcorn use the jello crystals and sprinkle on a couple of teaspoons. Shake again to cover in the flavouring.
Your rainbow popcorn is complete. You can either leave each colour in seperate bowls or mix them all up. It is entirely up to you. Have fun however you decide to serve the Popcorn and enjoy!!!
