How to make HALLOWEEN HOT CHOCOLATE

You will Need – For each Hot Chocolate Drink
- 1/2 a cup of Milk
- 2oz / 30g of your favourite Chocolate
- Chocolate M&M’s
- Chocolate pouring Sauce

- First you will need to prepare your marshmallow eyes. Take a sharp knife and make a slit in the top of the marshmallow. Insert a M&M into the slit to resemble the iris of the eye. Repeat with another marshmallow so you have a pair of eyes. Place your chocolate pouring sauce into a plastic bottle with a spout or into a piping bag ready for use.
- In a small saucepan place the milk and chocolate and slowly heat the milk stirring as the chocolate melts. You don’t want the milk to boil but it does need to be hot enough so that you enjoy your hot chocolate. Once the milk is hot enough and the chocolate has melted remove from the heat. Pour the milk into a french coffee press and pump up and down a few times to create a frothy chocolate milk.
- Pour the frothy milk into your mugs and decorate with the eyes or if you would like a spiders web, draw circles with your pouring sauce and take a toothpick to draw 3-4 lines from the centre to the outside and 3-4 lines from the outside to the centre Voila! one spiders web.
