I loved this Mexican Drink called Atole which I had almost daily whilst in Oaxaca, Mexico. You just have to try it it’s delicious.

How to make Mexican Atole
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 3-5 minutes
- 1/2 a cup of Masa Flour
- 3 cups of Water
- 4 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1/2 a teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup of Milk
- A Cinnamon Stick

- Place the masa flour into a saucepan and add about 1 cup of the water, whisk to form a smooth paste. Add the sugar, Vanilla, Milk and the rest of the water and whisk until nice and smooth. Drop in the cinnamon stick.
- Place the saucepan onto the heat and bring up to the boil, Simmer gently, stirring all the time until the Atole thickens. Remove from the heat and pour into a jug or straight into your mugs and serve. Enjoy!!!
