This is a super easy recipe for the kids to get really involved in and it tastes great too.

Chocolate Easter Nest – Easter Recipe

How to make Chocolate Easter Nests
Prep Time: 10 minutes plus setting time

Ingredients

  • 100g (about 4 Biscuits) of Shredded Wheat
  • 200g / 7oz of Melting Chocolate
  • Mini Chocolate Eggs

Instructions

  1. Into a bowl break up the shredded wheat. Try to keep the strands long so that they resemble twigs.
    Place the chocolate into a separate bowl and either melt in a microwave or over a pan of simmering water. Once the chocolate has melted pour onto the shredded wheat.
    Stir through gently to coat the shredded wheat completely in chocolate.
  2. You can place these directly into a muffin tin or use cupcake cases. Just spoon into the cases and make a small indentation in the centre to hold the eggs. Place 3 or 4 mini eggs into the nests.
    Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up and set.
    Your chocolate nests are now ready for Easter, so enjoy!!!
